Raising children is a challenge commitment at the best of times and when you have a child on the Autistic Spectrum the challenges increase. The understanding of autism is an ever developing field and there is still a very long way to go. This session, in our Let's Face Communication series, focuses on what is meant by the Triad of Impairments (the criteria for a diagnosis). It shows how making small changes in the way that you communicate, can make big improvements in the interactions you have with your child. This session is an overview and general introduction to this highly complex condition. It is relevant for anyone supporting, or working with, a child or adult who is on the spectrum.
