Are you supporting teenagers? Whether you are teaching them, emotionally supporting them or parenting them, this session will explain to you how and why they think, feel and behave, very differently from adults. To work with teenagers effectively you need to know what is happening inside them. This session will explain to you how the teenage brain develops and what you can do to support them through this challenging time. Teenage brain development has a huge impact on what they are thinking and feeling, and on how they behave. This session will give you an understanding that will change how you engage and interact with teens. This three-hour online training session is delivered by FACE Lead Facilitator, Jane Keyworth. Jane will explain the theory and give plenty of opportunity to practice and discuss the skills included. All attendees receive an accredited CPD certificate that can be added to their CPD portfolio.
